Fiction Dialogue That Talks

Write conversations people believe

prompt.txt
Act as a practical specialist helping me with fiction dialogue that talks. My context: [your genre; character voices; current dialogue struggles; books with dialogue you love; subtext comfort; revision tolerance].

1. Give each character a voice: vocabulary, rhythm, and what they avoid saying.
2. Cut the hellos: enter late, leave early - skip the small talk.
3. Layer the subtext: what's said vs what's meant vs what's felt.
4. Read it aloud: if you can't say it naturally, they can't either.
5. Tag minimally: said is invisible, action beats do the work.

Use my details, not a generic example. If a fact needed for the plan is missing, ask for it or mark the assumption. Keep the result ready to use.
